Ingredients
- 2 c. Shaved Brussels sprouts (or thinly sliced brussels sprouts)
- 1/4 red onion Chopped
- 2 Slices ButcherBox bacon, chopped
- 1 tsp. Herbes de Provence
- Dash of salt & pepper
- 1 tbs. balsamic vinegar
Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the bacon. Stir to keep it seperate and allow it to cook slowly.
Once the bacon fate begins to render add the chopped onion and cook for another 1- 2 minutes.
Add the brussels sprouts, a pinch of salt & pepper and the Herbes de Province and continue cooking while stirring occasionally. Turn up the heat slightly and add the vinegar. Stir and cook another minute. They will be done in about 5 minutes but check for doneness because the time will vary depending on how thin your slices are.
