I love plantains and this is the easiest way to fix them!
Ingredients
- Ripe plantains
- Coconut oil for cooking
- Seasonings: salt, cumin & cinnamon
Peel the plantains and cut in half. The halve them lengthwise.
Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat with about a tablespoon of coconut oil.
Add the plantains cut side down. Allow to cook until slightly golden & turn over. Add more oil only if needed.
Sprinkle the salt, cumin & cinnamon over the plantains and continue cooking, turning once more to cook until golden brown and softened.
